POLYGYNAX® is a broad spectrum combination of nystatin, neomycin and polymixin B indicated for the local treatment of vaginitis due to sensitive germs and treatment of non specific vaginitis of adults. Polygynax pessaries contains Neomycin sulphate 35,000 IU,Polymyxin B sulphate 35,000IU and Nystatin 100,000 IU. It is used for topical treatment of vaginal infections.
How to use
Use as directed by the physician.
Place one capsule deep in the vagina for 6 days. It is preferable and easier to insert the capsule while lying down on your back with the knees apart.
Practical advice :
• to avoid contaminating the people around you, use your own face cloth and towel.
• wear cotton underwear.
• avoid vaginal douches.
• avoid using tampons during treatment.
• do not stop treatment during menstrual periods.
• your physician may also treat your sexual partner in order to avoid reinfection.

- Do not use POLYGYNAX, vaginal capsule: •if you are allergic to one of the active substances (neomycin, polymyxin B or nystatin) or any of the other ingredients of this medicine. •if you are allergic to medicine of the same family. •if you use diaphragms or latex condoms. •if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to peanut or soya due to the presence of soybean oil.
