Cabalin 150mg Capsules contains Pregabalin 150mg used to relieve neuropathic pain (pain from damaged nerves) that can occur in your arms, hands, fingers, legs, feet, or toes if you have diabetes and postherpetic neuralgia (the burning, stabbing pain or aches that may last for months or years after an attack of shingles) also after a spinal cord injury and to treat fibromyalgia (a long-lasting condition that may cause pain, muscle stiffness and tenderness, tiredness, and difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep).
Pregabalin is also used along with other medications to treat certain types of seizures in adults and children 1 month of age and older.
Pregabalin is in a class of medications called anticonvulsants. It works by decreasing the number of pain signals that are sent out by damaged nerves in the body.
How to use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. May be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Precautions
Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of: heart problems, kidney disease, history of an allergic reaction ,personal or family history of a substance use disorder, breathing problems.
This drug may make you dizzy or drowsy or cause blurred vision. Avoid alcoholic beverages as they can make you more dizzy or drowsy. Do not drive, use machinery, or do anything that needs alertness or clear vision until you can do it safely.
