Natrixam 1.5/10mg is a fixed-dose combination of indapamide and amlodipine, two antihypertensive drugs. Indapamide is a Diuretic that increases urine output and Amlodipine is a Calcium Channel Blocker that relaxes blood vessels.
Dosage
Oral use. Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. The recommended dose is one tablet once a day, preferably in the morning. The tablet should be swallowed as whole with water should not be chewed.
Precautions
Natrixam should not be given to children and adolescents. You should not take Natrixam: -with lithium due to the risk of increased levels of lithium in blood. -with dantrolene. Do not take Natrixam if you have, hypotension, narrowing of the aortic heart valve, severe kidney disease, severe liver disease, low potassium levels or are breastfeeding.
