Brozelin Syrup contains Ambroxol Hydrochloride, Guaifenesin, Salbutamol and Menthol as active ingredients. It works by thinning the chest mucus; relaxing the muscles in the walls of the small airways in the lungs; reducing the phlegm in the air passages; providing relief from cough and sore throat. Brozelin Syrup is used for productive cough associated with ; Asthmatic Bronchitis, Bronchospasm, COPD, and Smokers cough.
How to use
Adult dose of Brozelin: 5 ml to be taken 3–4 times daily.
Children: 2.5–5 ml, 3–4 times daily or as directed by the physician.
Precautions
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to sympathomimetics, cardiovascular disease, hyperthyroidism. There are no absolute contra-indications to Ambroxol but in patients with gastric ulceration relative caution should be observed.
Precautions/Warnings: It is advisable to avoid use during the first trimester of pregnancy except on the direction of a physician. Do not take any drug after the expiry date.
