A dual action formula that relieves stronger stomach pain caused by cramps and spasms. Buscopan Plus contains Hyoscine-N-butylbromide which relieves the pain by acting on muscle spasm which causes the pain and Paracetamol which has analgesic properties. It is also commonly used to relieve symptoms associated with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and urinary tract spasms.
Dose
Children over 10 years and adults: 1-2 tablets, 3 times daily. The total daily dose should not exceed 6 tablets.
It should not be taken for more than 3 days without a prescription. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor.
Tablets should be swallowed whole with adequate liquid.
Precautions
1. Do not take Buscopan Plus if you are allergic to hyoscine butylbromide, paracetamol, or any other ingredients in the medication. If you experience any signs of an allergic reaction, such as rash, itching, swelling, or difficulty breathing, seek immediate medical attention.
2. Buscopan Plus may interact with certain medications, so inform your healthcare professional about all the medications, including over-the-counter and herbal products, that you are taking.
3. Do not take if lactating or pregnant. Consult your doctor / physician.
4. Do not administer to children under 10 years
