Emitino syrup 2mg/5ml contains ondansetron which is used in the treatment and prevention of nausea and vomiting. Emitino is an antiemetic (anti-nausea medicine). It inhibits the action of serotonin, a chemical messenger that can trigger nausea and vomiting.DoseTake this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Emitino 2mg/5ml Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Precaution
Pregnancy: Use of Emitino 2mg Syrup is not recommended in pregnant women.
Breast-feeding: No clear data is available whether Emitino 2mg Syrup is excreted through human breast milk. So, use of this drug is not recommended in breastfeeding women.
Hypersentivity: Avoid if the patient has a known allergy to Emitino 2mg Syrup.
Liver disease: Avoid using if the patient is having any liver disease as there are reports of Emitino 2mg Syrup increasing patient's liver enzymes.
Paediatics: Avoid using in children who are younger than 4 years.
Common side effects of Emitino 2mg syrup: Headache, Constipation,Fatigue, Painful urination.
