Ampiclox contains ampicillin and cloxacillin. Each 0.6 ml contains 60 mg ampicillin as Ampicillin Trihydrate and 30 mg cloxacillin as Cloxacillin Sodium. Ampiclox is indicated for the treatment of bacteria infection such as post operative wound infection, post operative pulmonary infection, bronchopneumonia, chronic bronchitis, bone infections, ear, nose and throat infections.
How to use
Neonates to 2 years.
Neonatal oral drops 0.6 mL (90 mg) of reconstituted suspension every 4 hours.
Administer a half to 1 hour prior to feeding. (As directed by the physician).
Precautions
Ampiclox should be administered a half to 1 hour before meals. Ampiclox should not be given to patients with a history of hypersensitivity to betalactam antibiotics (e.g., penicillins, cephalosporins) or excipients. It is also contraindicated for ocular administration
