Benylin Day & Night Tablets are a dual-action oral medication designed to provide 24-hour relief from cold and flu symptoms. The pack contains two types of tablets specifically formulated to help you manage symptoms throughout the day and rest easily at night.
Active Ingredients & How They Work
Each 16-tablet blister pack is split into two distinct color-coded formulations:

Daytime Tablets (White): Formulated to be non-drowsy.

Paracetamol (500mg): Functions as a painkiller and fever reducer. It targets headaches, sore throats, and body aches.

Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride (60mg): A powerful decongestant. It narrows swollen blood vessels in your nasal passages to clear congestion.

Nighttime Tablets (Blue): Formulated to clear remaining congestion and aid rest.

Paracetamol (500mg): Continues to manage pain and lower fever overnight.

Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride (25mg): An antihistamine that dries up a runny nose, relieves catarrh, and causes mild drowsiness to help you sleep.
Standard Dosage Instructions
This medication is for adults and children aged 12 years and older. Swallow the tablets whole with a glass of water, and do not chew them.

Morning: Take 1 white tablet.

Mid-day: Take 1 white tablet.

Afternoon: Take 1 white tablet.

Bedtime: Take 1 blue tablet.
Note: Allow 4 to 6 hours between your daytime doses. Never exceed 3 white tablets and 1 blue tablet in any 24-hour period. Do not take the blue nighttime tablet during the day.
Critical Safety Warnings

Avoid Ingredient Duplication: Do not take this medication with any other products containing paracetamol, diphenhydramine, decongestants, or other cough and cold remedies. Doing so can lead to an accidental, dangerous overdose.

Medical Consultations: Speak to a pharmacist or doctor before use if you have high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, or an overactive thyroid, as decongestants like pseudoephedrine can exacerbate these conditions.

Treatment Duration: Do not use this medication continuously for more than 7 days for a cold, or 3 days for a fever. If symptoms persist or worsen, consult a doctor.
