Benylin Dry Cough is used to relieve irritating dry unproductive cough. It is sugar and alcohol free. It contains the active ingredient dextromethorphan hydrobromide 15mg, which helps to suppress the cough reflex in the brain. It is available over-the-counter and can be used by adults and children over the age of 2yrs.
Dose
The recommended dose of Benylin Dry Cough:
Adults: 5 ml every 4 hours or 10 ml every 6 to 8 hours.
Children 6 to 12 years: 2.5ml - 5 ml every 6 to 8 hours.
Children 2 to 6 years: 2.5ml every 6 to 8 hours.
