CALPOL® SixPlus™ Oral Suspension is a paracetamol-based liquid medication designed to provide fast, effective relief from pain and fever in children aged 6 years and over. It is formulated at double the strength of infant paracetamol (containing 250 mg of paracetamol per 5 ml). It starts working to lower a fever in 15 minutes and is commonly used for headaches, toothaches, earaches, sore throats, and cold or flu symptoms.
Dosage and Administration Guideline
Always shake the bottle for at least 10 seconds before measuring a dose, and use the easy-dose syringe or spoon provided with the pack.

Frequency: You can give a dose up to 4 times in a 24-hour period.

Interval: Leave at least 4 hours between each dose.

Duration: Do not give this medicine for more than 3 consecutive days without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.

Critical Safety Rules

Never give this to children under 6 years old, as the concentration of paracetamol is too high for them. Use an infant-specific formulation instead.

Do not combine this with any other products containing paracetamol (such as certain cold remedies) to avoid the severe risk of accidental overdose and liver damage.
- Seek immediate medical help if an overdose is suspected, even if the person seems completely well.
