Elocom Cream contains Mometasone furoate 0.1% which is topical steroid used to reduce inflammation and itchiness caused by certain corticosteroid-responsive skin problems, such as psoriasis or atopic dermatitis in adults and children.
How to use
A thin layer of Elocom Cream should be gently rubbed into the affected area of the skin once a day. Massage gently and thoroughly until the medication disappears. Apply with the aid of your finger and
then wash your finger thoroughly.
Precautions
Do not use Elocom Cream if you:
Are allergic (hypersensitive) to mometasone furoate, any of the other ingredients of Elocom or to similar medicines.
Have any other skin problems as it could make them worse especially: rosacea (a skin condition affecting the face),acne,skin atrophy (thinning of the skin) ,dermatitis around the mouth ,perianal and genital itching,nappy rash ,cold sores, chickenpox,shingles, warts, ulcerated skin,wounds,skin tuberculosis,post-vaccination reactions and other skin infections.
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding do not use without consulting your doctor.
