Finosin tablets contains Tamsulosin 0.4 mg and Finasteride 5 mg which is used in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia. Tamsulosin and Finasteride relieve the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia. Tamsulosin is an alpha-blocker. It works by relaxing muscle around the bladder exit and prostate gland so urine is passed more easily. Finasteride is a 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor which helps in shrinking the prostate by decreasing the level of a hormone that causes the prostate to grow.
How to use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Finosin Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Precautions
Finosin is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy.Taking tamsulosin with alcohol may lower your blood pressure. This can cause dizziness or feeling like you might pass out, especially when getting up from a sitting or lying position. Finosin is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment is recommended, however it should be used with caution in patients with liver disease.
