Dose
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Furosemide 40 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Precaution
Taking Furosemide with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.
Furosemide 40 mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Please consult your doctor. It is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Furosemide 40 mg Tablet is recommended however, it should be used with caution in patients with Liver disease and dose adjustment may be needed.
