L-Sign Kit contains Levofloxacin 500mg, Amoxicillin 1000mg and Esomeprazole 40mg.
The kit is used for the eradication of Helicobacter pylori(H.Pylori) and prevention of duodenal ulceration due to H. pylori.
This kit contains one tablet of Esomeprazole 40mg, one tablet of Levofloxacin 500mg and two tablets of Amoxicillin 500mg.
Esomeprazole works by decreasing the amount of acid released into your stomach hence relieves symptoms such as heartburn.Levofloxacin stops the growth of h.pylori and prevent the disease progress hence achieving faster healing. Amoxicillin treats the stomach/intestinal ulcers caused by the bacteria H.pylori and prevents the ulcers from returning after treatment.
Dose
Administer (Amoxicillin 1g, Levofloxacin 500 mg, Esomeprazole 40 mg) OD for 14 days.
Precaution
Hypersensitivity to esomeprazole, fluroquinolones, β-lactam antibiotics (e.g. penicillins, cephalosporin), or any other constituents of the formulations. History of an allergic reaction.
Possible drug interactions for all components in the triple therapy should be considered.
