Microgynon-Fe 28 is a type of combined oral contraceptive pill, used to prevent pregnancy. It contains two types of synthetic female hormones: ethinylestradiol (an estrogen) and levonorgestrel (a progestin). These hormones work by preventing ovulation, thickening cervical mucus to impede sperm, and thinning the uterine lining to prevent fertilized eggs from implanting. DoseOne tablet is taken daily for 28 consecutive days, preferably at the same time each day, with no breaks between packs.
