Melatonin is the body’s own natural sleep hormone, which is produced in the brain in the pineal gland each evening when darkness falls. It is part of the “biological clock” that produces the circadian rhythm and prepares the body for sleep. But the natural rhythm of this clock can be disrupted, resulting in difficulty sleeping.
How to use
All uses except jet lag: At or before bedtime, 1 tablet once daily or as directed by a health care practitioner.
Jet lag: 1 tablet once daily at bedtime, while travelling and at destination until adapted to the new daily pattern, or as directed by a health care practitioner.
