How It Works (Triple-Action Formula)
Unlike standard artificial tears, Optive Plus features a lipid-enhanced dual-polymer formulation that targets all three layers of the tear film:

Lubrication: Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose forms a protective, high-viscosity shield over the corneal surface to reduce friction.

Osmoprotection & Hydration: Glycerin deeply hydrates surface cells, restoring osmotic balance and preventing cellular dehydration or inflammation.

Lipid Enhancement: Castor Oil and Polysorbate 80 replenish the lipid (oily) layer of your tears. This slows down tear evaporation, making it exceptionally effective for dry eyes caused by heavy screen time, air conditioning, or eyelid gland dysfunction (MGD).

Smart Preservative: It utilizes Purite, a transient preservative that safely breaks down into natural tear components (water, sodium chloride, and oxygen) the moment it hits your eye, significantly minimizing irritation compared to traditional preservatives.
How to Use
- Wash your hands thoroughly before application.
- Tilt your head back, gently pull down the lower eyelid to create a small pocket, and squeeze 1 to 2 drops into the eye(s).
- Close your eyes briefly. If you wear contact lenses, it is recommended to remove them before application and wait the instructed period before reinserting.

Important Expiry Note: Discard the bottle 3 to 6 months after opening, depending on the specific package insert guidelines, and do not touch the dropper tip to any surface.
Potential Side Effects
