Panadol Extra Soluble is a fast-acting, effervescent pain reliever that contains two active ingredients: 500 mg of paracetamol and 65 mg of caffeine per tablet. These tablets are designed to be dissolved in water before drinking, allowing the body to absorb the medicine faster than traditional solid tablets.
The combination of paracetamol and caffeine is clinically proven to provide more effective pain relief than standard paracetamol alone, as caffeine enhances the analgesic effects of the paracetamol.
What it is Used For
According to the manufacturer's guidance, this medication is used for the temporary relief of mild to moderate pain, including:
- Headaches and migraines
- Toothaches and dental pain
- Backache and muscular aches
- Period pain
- Rheumatic pain and joint pain
- Sore throats, fever, and bodily aches associated with colds and flu
Recommended Dosage
The tablets must be fully dissolved in at least half a glass of water before consumption.

Adults and children aged 16 years and over: Take 2 tablets dissolved in water every 4 to 6 hours as needed. Do not take more than 8 tablets in a 24-hour period.

Children aged 12 to 15 years: Take 1 tablet dissolved in water every 4 to 6 hours as needed. Do not exceed 4 tablets in a 24-hour period.

Children under 12 years: This medication is not recommended.
Note: Leave at least 4 hours between doses, and do not take the medication for more than 3 consecutive days without consulting a doctor.
