Application & Proper Care Instructions

Prepare the Area: Cleanse the wound thoroughly with sterile saline and pat the surrounding skin completely dry to guarantee optimal adhesion.

Apply Sterily: Peel off the protective backing paper. Avoid touching the central absorbent pad or the sticky perimeter to maintain sterility.

Secure the Dressing: Place the low-adherent pad directly over the wound. Smooth down the non-woven adhesive edges gently to avoid skin tension or wrinkling.

Frequency of Change: Replace the dressing daily, or immediately if fluid seeps through to the outer layer or if it becomes wet.
Key Warnings & Restrictions

Not Waterproof: Primapore is breathable but not water-resistant. It must be kept dry during showering, or swapped out immediately if it gets soaked, to avoid bacterial contamination.

Severe Wounds: Do not use this as a primary dressing for heavily bleeding, deep, or tunnelled wounds that require specialized packing.
