Rhinathiol Adult: Rhinathiol is indicated in adults (>15 years) in case of recent respiratory disorders with difficulty expectorating (difficulty in rejecting, by spitting bronchial secretion).
Dosage/Direction for Use
Rhinathiol Adult: Adults and Children >15 years: 1 tablespoonful 3 times daily. Duration of Treatment: 5 days.
Precaution
Contraindication: History of hypersensitivity to one of the components (particularly to parabens). Gastroduodenal ulceration.
Infants <2 years, as there is a risk of worsening the airway congestion.
Special Precautions: Syrup contains sucrose. In diabetic patients, take into account 6 g sucrose/tablespoon, while in diabetic children, take into account 3.5 g sucrose/teaspoon.
