Rhizin Syrup contains cetrizine hydrchrolide 5mg per 5 ml. It is indicated for;
the relief of symptoms associated with seasonal allergic rhinitis due to allergen. Symptoms treated effectively include sneezing, rhinorrhea, pruritus, ocular pruritus, tearing and redness of the eyes.
the relief of symptoms associated with perennial allergic rhinitis due to allergens. Symptoms treated effectively include sneezing, rhinorrhea, post-nasal discharge, nasal pruritus, ocular pruritus and tearing.
for the treatment of the uncomplicated skin manifestations of chronic idiopathic urticaria. It is also used in allergen induced asthma.
Dose
- Adults and children above the age of six should take one pill or 10ml(two teaspoons) daily or 5ml(1 teaspoonful) twice daily.
- For children ages 2 to 6: 5ml(1 teaspoon)once a day or 2.5ml(1/2 teaspoon) twice day.
- Children from 6 months to 2 years should consume 2.5ml(1/2 teaspoon) once a day.

Precautions

Avoid drinking alcohol. You may become more sleepy after consuming alcohol.
