It contains Rizatriptan (10mg), which belongs to a class of drugs known as triptans. It works by narrowing temporarily widened blood vessels in the brain and blocking inflammatory chemicals that trigger migraine pain, nausea, and sensitivity to light and sound.
Please note that Rizact 10mg is exclusively used to treat a migraine attack after it has already started; it is completely ineffective for preventing or reducing the frequency of future headaches.

Correct Usage and Dosage Guidelines

Administration: Conventional tablets should be swallowed whole with a glass of water. If you have the Mouth Dissolving (MD) variant, let it dissolve on your tongue without water.

Food Impact: It can be taken with or without food, though taking it with a meal may delay its pain-relieving effects by about an hour.

Redosing Limit: If the migraine returns after initial relief, a second dose may be taken, but you must wait at least 2 hours between doses.

Maximum Daily Dose: Never exceed 30mg (3 tablets) within any 24-hour window.
Critical Health Warnings & Interactions
You must never take Rizact 10mg if you have a history of:
