Vigamox 0.5% Eye Drops (5ml) is a prescription fluoroquinolone antibiotic eye drop containing moxifloxacin (5mg/mL). It is primarily used to treat bacterial conjunctivitis (pink eye) and other external bacterial eye infections. It works by destroying the bacteria causing the infection.

Standard Dosage: Typically 1 drop in the affected eye(s), 3 times daily for 7 days, exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Always complete the full course even if your symptoms improve early.

How to Apply: Wash your hands thoroughly. Tilt your head back, pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket, and instill one drop. Close your eye for 1 to 2 minutes and press gently on the inner corner near your nose to keep the medicine from draining away. Do not let the dropper tip touch your eye or any surface.

Contact Lenses: Do not wear contact lenses while you have an active bacterial eye infection or while using this medication.

Common Side Effects: You may experience brief stinging, burning, redness, dry eyes, or temporary blurred vision immediately after applying the drops.

Storage: Store at room temperature (below 25°C to 30°C). Discard the bottle 28 days after first opening to prevent bacterial contamination.
